In 2004, the Philippines-based company acquired a U.S. company, Phase 2 Solutions, Phase 2 Solutions� main focus was on the telecommunications industry, and had been since 1996.

In March 2007, eGS was listed on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol ETEL. It became the first Philippine-based outsourcing firm and the second Philippine-based company to list on an American stock exchange.

In November 2007, eGS was listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange. It became the first BPO company to be listed on both exchanges.

eTelecare started with 20 agents handling two programs on inbound telecommunications and financial services in September 2000. Today, the company has now grown to 11,000 employees handling customer service, inbound sales, outbound sales and technical support for market leaders in consumer technology, financial services, telecommunications, business services, travel and other industries. We are located in 13 centers in both the Philippines and the United States.
