In line with Macquarie’s impressive growth, the Information Technology Group's (ITG), Infrastructure Technology Services has a position available for a Storage Administrator to work within the Global Storage Operations team.  Working within the team, applicants will bring solid day-to-day support experience of multiple enterprise storage systems and will be responsible for the day-to-day support of all enterprise storage systems; this will include regular disk provisioning, liaising with vendors and other support teams for troubleshooting and diagnosis, preventative maintenance, service improvement & reporting of the global Storage infrastructure.

Commercial experience in the following is required:

    * EMC DMX and Clariion Storage arrays
    * Netapp Storage arrays
    * Cisco & McData Fibre Channel switches
    * HDS USP-V Storage arrays
    * Desirable experience in the following:
    * Data Replication & Snapshot technologies
    * EMC Centera
    * EMC ERM
    * EMC Control Centre
    * Netapp Operations Manager

In addition you will demonstrate:

    * The ability to effectively manage a range of tasks simultaneously
    * The confidence and initiative to work independently with a strong commitment to team work
    * Be customer-focused and have excellent communication skills
    * Be a strong, dynamic character, capable of dealing effectively with colleagues and business users
    * Work calmly and manage incidents with purpose while under pressure
    * An excellent understanding of ITIL Service Management including change, incident and problem management as it applies to a large corporate environment.
    * A creative and consultative approach to problem solving
    * Financial/investment banking industry experience

Ideally you will possess tertiary qualifications in an IT/related discipline and have in-depth previous experience in Storage administration.
