Job Description:
  • Works with the various groups where applicable to solve issues related to the SharePoint environments.
  • Defines and manages the infrastructure for the SharePoint enterprise and identifies major areas of development
  • Applies enterprise vision to all infrastructure projects
  • Proactively researches and locates the necessary tools and processes to identify troublesome trends as they develop; analyzes/predicts trends and develops a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring; maintain high service level for the user community
  • Proactively researches technology trends of the product; identifies and markets applicable uses of the product and it’s components
  • Ensures that the services are available to support all development projects
  • Follows established coding standards and process procedures
  • Follows Change Control processes
  • Facilitates upgrade management when necessary

 


  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of related experience in the SharePoint environment
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
  • Experience in the analysis, design, implementation, deployment, training, and support of a variety of large and complex applications
  • Strong Microsoft-focused experience working with SPS 2003, MOSS 2007, Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 and 3.0, SharePoint Custom Web Part Development, and SharePoint migrations.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Content Management Server and Web Content Management functionality within MOSS 2007, including site, template, and/or master page design, architecture, security, authoring, and workflow is highly desired.
  • Experience with technologies such as XML/XSL/XSD, Web Services, SOAP, WSDL
  • Excellent client interactions skills required as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong experience working with the .NET framework—ideally C# and ASP.NET
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and IIS
  • CAML and XML experience
