Service Logistics Administrator (IRC2393)
Job Description:
Under the direction of Logistics Manager, assists in preparing quotes, shipping estimates and reports for Logistics and provides miscellaneous support to the logistics staff.
 
Products and Services/Client Responsibilities:  
  • Assists in researching part numbers and parts vendors;
  • Database data entry and data management;
  • Assists in running database reports;
  • Performs follow-up with parts vendors that are late with requests for quotes;
  • Creates formal quotes for review based on customer request for quote;
  • Updates CRM tool with customer data;
  • Capable of using JDE, Oracle, Microsoft Excel and Word.
Scope:
 
  • The incumbent follows standing orders and receives verbal instructions regarding customer request for quotes from the Service Logistics Manager.
Internal/External Communication:
 
  • Customer Service, Procurement, Data Processing, Customer Service, Shipping and Credit.
  • Requires a combination of education and experience equivalent to two (2) years of college work in Marketing or Economics plus three (3) to four (4) years of high level clerical experience.
  • The incumbent must be familiar with Electronic’s procedures, data entry system and its products.
  • Requires excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
